we all need to have a WAYYY better attitude about our school. compaired to other schools ours is like the mega tajma hall. we have a super nice building and pretty good teachers... we also need to learn to encourage other people and you can start that by feeling better about yourself and in turn.. it will help other people. i feel great!:)
I really liked going to the leadership day it helped me to think about how i'm treating others and things like that. i think that if maybe we should take some of the things we learned to help make rhs a more positive place for people to be around, like missy and dallas said too.
I totally agree with Rylie..... i would love to have him back again and i think that everyone would enjoy him. I also think that we should try and possibly start something with the middle school about like accepting other people and not just like branching out to people who they might not normally talk to. Maybe if we start them earlier, theyll learn to get along more. :)
I loved the leadership conference. One way that I think we could boost school spirit is by having more pep assemblies. It was brought to my attention that pep assemblies seem to be a thing of the past. Why don't we try bringing them back?
i agree , we should bring back pep assemblies :) the homcoming assembly is always something i looik forward to every year . by the way , the leadership conference was GREAT !
Okay, a bit off topic, but wouldn't it be cool if we had a day like this for sga only? Like a local student government day where all the local governments get together and share ideas and piggy back off eachother... i think it'd be super cool!
i think the leadership conference was great! the guy who spoke made us work together as a team and made us think about things that we had ignored before. it would be great if all of the students got to hear him instead of just a select few.
TOTALLY agree with Chloe. 100%. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE Zoey's idea. Like Chloe said not everyone was invited. So a bunch of us blogging about how they liked it does nothing. I think we do what Zoey said and use some of the ideas and what not from the people that did go to leadership. Does that make sense??
Not everyone got invited because if everyone had gotten to go it would have been impossible for the speaker to handle and to do all the activities. Plus SADD and TADAA have been raising the money for him to come so those members got chosen first. But i thought the conference was great. It helped teach you how to get along with people that you may not know so well or don't like.
Zoey's idea could work. We really wouldn't need an actual speaker because it could be student ran. Plus it would give us some new ideas along with other schools getting new ideas that no one ever thought of.

I agree, I think that our school is better than what some people think. We need to be more positive !

The games we played were different and I feel like if we had an activity day, like an assembly, we could incorporate those into it.
1. I was not invited to any such conference. Ridiculous.
2. Theres nothing to post about, mrs. selinger. Come on.
3. People are always going to complain about our school. Complaining is just in some peoples blood.
