helping a stranger
The opportunity never arose for me to stick up for or help a stranger this past week. I did however, make some sort of an effort. Today we got a new girl in my class, Katie. Her locker is only a few down from mine, so i took the initiative to introduce myself and ask how her first day at a new school was. I also told her if she needed any help around the next few days, i'd be glad to step in!

i also helped katie...during lunch erica trueblood and i went up to her and said she can sit with us if she wants to. also after eating we all sat at a table with her and talked. katie is a really nice girl and i advise everyone to try to talk to her.
I wouldnt say that i helped a stranger. I just tried to stand up for someone who always gets picked on. It kinda made me feel good because they havent picked on him for the past few days.
That's a great idea to introduce yourself to a new kid. I didn't really think of it until you said something about it. Another new kid came yesterday. maybe i'll introduce myself to him.
Last week I helped Damion after he dropped his stuff in the hall then walked him to his bus.
I got to say fish way to go and I bet you felt good when you did that and you probably made that kids day.
I helped out some one in my class last week. He had forgotten his planner and I followed him to his locker and gave to him.
I didn't really help a stranger but on monday when we didn't have school my sister was running late to work so i went out and scrapped the snow off of her car.

Today after SGA i was getting my stuff out of Mr. Eatons room and Thomas dropped his book, I immediately rushed to help him pick it up. Me and lindsey both rushe to ti, but i beat her to it :)
i have to say that i helped katie too. i was in the office before 1st hour on tuesday getting the jugs ready and we sat there and talked. i showed her to her locker and all her classes in the morning. it really helped her because she had no idea where to go and i know that if i was new i would love for someone to help me. then after school i went up and asked her how her day was and such:)
yeah...i introduced myself to the new girl and told her to watch for spencer pulliam while handling a germX bottle. =)
Also tonight at the basketball game David Callahan won 50/50 and some kids were making fun of him and I told them that they should be happy for him. He works hard and people degrade him for it and it doesnt help his self esteem when people are jerks all the time
I saw the new girl and introduced myself. Then later during the day she came up to me and asked me to show her where her locker was. I took her to her locker and talked to her about our school. Then she told me I was amazing :) That last part wasn't true but still.

I apologized to the lunch lady when I asked her to go get cheese pizza after trying to convince her there was pepperoni on every other piece already out there for ten minutes.

I broke the rules of stranger danger and helped someone at the truck stop by telling them that they left their coffee on top of their car as they drove away.
I helped Dana Cunningham during my choir class by showing her how to count the new time signature. She may be really shy but she's nice to talk to :)
Kenda had books fall out of her locker twice in one day and i help her pick them up.
I stood up for the same kid this week...the same one that always gets picked on. I'm kinda getting tired of it. I'm really trying to make an effort on standing up for him because he doesn't really talk much and people pick on him all the time during 3rd hour p.e.
There's this boy that was new this semester that was in my study hall first hour and no one ever talked to him so I went up to him the other day and introduced myself and told him if he ever needed help with his homework or wanted anyone to sit by he could sit at my table... Then when I left the guys at the other end of the table thought i was hitting on him so they were asking him about it. At least it got people to talk to him so it was worth it.

i offered to give kenzie joy a ride home from musical rehearsal so that she didn't have to wait around for hours until her mom could get her.
I tried sitting with matt at breakfast but he left when i sat down. I got rejected
I told someone at walmart that they left their lights on before they got to far away from their car
